I would have to say that my favorite fashion designer is Ralph Lauren. One of the things that I admire the most about Ralph Lauren is his work ethic. It has been said that Ralph began working as a young child after school so that he could buy suits that he wanted. I have loved Ralph Lauren since I was a little child because my mother used to dress me in the classic pony shirts when I went to school. To this day I still where them.
Another things that I admire about Ralph Lauren is his ability to create instant classics. Ever since Ralph Lauren introduced the Polo shirt in the 1980's it has been a classic and will remain a classic for years to come. One can never go wrong with a classy Polo shirt. The majority of the clothing that Ralph Lauren produces will remain in style for years to come. Even though his various labels may be a bit pricey, the article of clothing purchased will be used for many seasons.
I also admire Ralph Lauren because he is one of the few American designers who has retained the quality of his company and it's clothing throughout the years. Many designers have started to produce poor quality clothing in order to lower manufacturing costs; but no matter what state the economy is in, Ralph Lauren has always produced the quality of clothing it has promised. These are just a few reasons why Ralph Lauren is my favorite designer.
